I got an ice cream maker!! It’s a little crazy how excited I am about this.
So I was thinking that the ice cream recipes that I’ve been making have been too rich. I usually try to eat healthy, so all this rich ice cream was starting to make me feel guilty. Solution? Froyo! I looked around online for different recipes, and the consensus seemed to be a simple mixture of Greek yogurt and sugar. I personally found the end product a little thick in consistency (I’m used to Yogurtland, which is pretty light), so I may try to use normal yogurt instead of Greek yogurt next time.
You can easily tailor the recipe to add whatever flavors you want. I may try a pomegranate or passionfruit version next time. I topped mine with peaches (they were on sale), but you can add whatever topping you like.
